Capstone Update #4

 Since my last update I have completed the post-secondary section. I have started on the “Jobs and Where to Work” section of my PowerPoint but I’m going to do most of it in class where I can directly ask for your help over and over. Since I kind of skipped that section, I started and for the most part completed the “Skills and Experience” section. I am still subject to changing some of my information for that section.

Capstone Update #3

 Today, I had to recreate my career description slide because it was deleted. That was a little set back but I then went on to start my Post Secondary Options section of the power point. I was able to nearly complete my first slide of it where I talked about UBC and their Foods program. The only thing left that I have to do for that one is to add a picture. Next class I will complete the final slide for the Post Secondary section and hopefully complete the next couple slides along with it.

Capstone Update #2

 I finished my essential slide and the curricular competencies on Thursday. Today I finished my career description and I directed the description towards being a cooking teacher because it felt more accurate to what I think I want. I may go back and add another strand of cooking but I am not sure yet. I am about to get started on my post-secondary options slide.

Capstone Update #1

 Today, I started my power point and made some progress on a couple of slides. I tried taking it one-by-one rather than doing some huge outline with all of the boxes made. I'm going to see if it works out better for me and if not, I'll start making an outline. The box that I completely finished is my "About Me" slide and I am close to finishing my "Essential Question" slide. After I am done the essential question slide, I'm going to talk about the curricular competencies that my capstone touches.
